Emerald Flow is conceived as a spatial object rather than a conventional furniture piece. Its form moves in a continuous, fluid gesture, creating a sense of calm, weightlessness, and controlled tension. The silhouette is defined by softness and precision, allowing the piece to exist simultaneously as a place of rest and a visual anchor within a space.
The geometry is intentionally restrained yet expressive. Extended curves and seamless transitions dissolve the boundary between structure and surface, giving the object a refined architectural presence. It does not occupy a space passively; it shapes the atmosphere around it.
Materiality plays a defining role in its identity. A deep emerald velvet surface introduces richness and depth, while the brushed brass base reflects light with subtle intensity, creating a quiet interplay between softness and structure. The underlit edge enhances this relationship, giving the piece a sense of elevation and controlled luminosity.
Emerald Flow is designed to exist within composed interiors where proportion, material, and spatial rhythm are carefully considered. Whether placed within a private residence, a gallery-like setting, or a branded environment, the piece functions as part of a larger spatial narrative rather than an isolated object.
As part of Sama Karim Design Studios’ collectible furniture series, Emerald Flow reflects an approach where form, material, and atmosphere converge to create objects that transcend utility and enter the realm of spatial identity.
Each Emerald Flow is developed as a refined, site-aware piece, responding to context, proportion, and the intended spatial composition.
